History

In 1981, three power engineers from Lincoln Laboratory of Massachusetts Institute of Technology co-founded APC Company, which was focused on solar energy research and development. In 1984, APC Company noticed the potential of the uninterruptible power market and began to specialize in the production of UPS products, combining its own technological advantages, and launched its first uninterruptible power supply (UPS) 750.
