4、 How to consider the standby time of UPS?
UPS can be divided into standard type and long-term type according to standby time. The standby time of standard UPS is 5-15 minutes, and that of long-term UPS is 1-8 hours. If your equipment is power-off, you only need to save and exit, then select standard UPS; if your equipment still needs to run for a long time when power is off, you should choose long-term ups.
5、 What are "standard" and "long term" ups?
Standard UPS refers to that a single UPS has a built-in small capacity battery (installed in the main cabinet), and the power supply time is short (only a few minutes under full load). However, the long-term UPS is equipped with large capacity battery, which needs to be installed outside the ups main cabinet with battery box. The power supply time varies from 0.5 hours to 8 hours, which is configured according to the needs of users. In other words, the standard UPS is the ups with the discharge time set by the manufacturer, while the long-term UPS is the ups with the discharge time selected by the customer.
6、 How long is the backup function delayed?
(1) The backup machine uses a genuine Panasonic 12v7ah battery. When the backup machine is equipped with an ordinary PC, the backup time is about 7 minutes, which is enough for the user to exit and shut down according to the normal program, and the protection data will not be lost;
(2) The duration of UPS continuous power supply depends on the load. For details, please refer to the "discharge curve" in the product manual.
7、 What types of loads are not suitable for UPS?
It is not recommended to connect with pure inductive and pure capacitive load. For example, electric motor, air conditioner, copier, etc. And it can't be connected to half wave rectifier load
