Maintenance of battery, an important part of apcups power system
Battery is an important part of UPS system. The battery life depends on the ambient temperature and the number of discharges. High temperature or deep discharge will shorten the battery life. 1. The standard built-in battery is sealed maintenance free lead-acid battery. When the UPS is connected to the mains, it will always charge the battery whether it is started or not, and provide overcharge and over discharge protection functions. 2. Try to keep the ambient temperature between 15 ℃ and 25 ℃ when using the battery. 3. If UPS is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it every 3 months. 4. In normal use, the battery shall be charged and discharged once every 4 to 6 months, and charged after being discharged and shut down. When used in high temperature area, the battery shall be charged and discharged once every two months, and the charging time of standard UPS shall not be less than 10 hours. 5. Batteries should not be replaced individually. Follow the battery supplier's instructions when replacing. 6. Under normal circumstances, the service life of the battery is 3 to 5 years. If the battery is found in poor condition, it must be replaced in advance, and the replacement of the battery must be operated by professionals
