1. Site maintenance

When installing and using APC Schneider UPS power supply, the temperature of installation and use environment should be 0 ~ 40 ℃, the relative humidity is 30% ~ 90%, the temperature is lower than 0 ℃ or it is affected by damp, the insulation performance of UPS power supply will decline, which is easy to cause short circuit; at the same time, it may also cause corrosion and rust of connectors, electrical connecting screws, component pins, hoes, solder joints, etc. of UPS power supply and other equipment.

If the altitude is more than 1000m, it should be reduced by 10% every 1000m.

2. Battery maintenance

(1) Maintain appropriate ambient temperature

Considering all aspects, APC Schneider UPS power supply generally uses maintenance free lead-acid battery, and its service life is generally about 5 years. The ambient temperature of the battery is between 20 ℃ and 25 ℃. Once the temperature exceeds 25 ℃, the battery life will be reduced by half every 10 ℃.

(2) The battery is charged and discharged regularly

In the service environment where there is little power failure, the battery will be in the state of floating charge for a long time, which will reduce the activity of chemical energy and electric energy conversion, accelerate aging and shorten the service life. Therefore, the battery should be fully discharged every 2-3 months, and the discharge time can be determined according to the capacity and load of the battery. After one full load discharge, recharge for more than 8 hours according to regulations.
